I've updated the list with this: v7.480 (9083/080306) - 13th March 08 for x20 models only. Recalled almost immediately - no reason given. Returned as v7.480 (9084/080313)- 18th March 08 - x20 models only. Unspecified minor improvements / bug fixes, adds support for TomTom's recently announced HD Traffic Receiver. Various issues reported including loss of speech recognition on some systems and on-screen emulator in Home now broken. Anyone got any corrections or anything to add? Yes, issues with Traffic Map Symbols in this version not displaying correctly, and lanes not being coloured properly. There are loads more too perhaps, but I am sticking to the factual, in 100% of cases scenario, rather than intermittent or anecdotal bugs. This issue is directly from the new version, and is instantly fixed by reverting back. You did cover your post by saying "various issues reported" but if your willing, I'd like this one included, as I'd like to see this one fixed *lol* Good post too by the way Andy. -------------------- Shadamehr

Thanks, shadamehr.. I've added a note about the Traffic symbols.
Can you expand (I can't believe I just said that to you of all people! Do you mean lanes as in small roads or lanes as in on a main road, and what is happening to them? Or is this part of the same Traffic issue? I've actually held back form updating for the first time ever, so haven't seen these differences for myself yet. |

What I have found is that if you are travelling east then the lane with the problem is shown as west bound! on the map. Though the moving arrows show going east. Not a problem with 7.480 as not arrows just a grey line.

Just a brief note in an old thread Andy, but if you are still interested in keeping it going, then the Home info needs updating with the 2.4 details - two versions released, 2.4.094 and then .102 IIRC from memory at work.

Thank you... I usually remember to update that list when new software is released, but always forget there is a section for Home versions too.
Anyone remember when they came out? |

Anyone remember when they came out? September 24th was first release.... Did you mean for 2.4.094 or 2.4.102? Clarity clarity - I do apologise - 2.4.0.94 was on the 24th followed by 2.4.0.104 on the 29th -------------------- Steve

I'm confused now! (Not difficult at the best of times, but with this flu I can't think straight at all)
Are you both talking about the same thing, or two (or three!) different versions? I think a lot of confusion is due to Tomtom saying one thing and doing another
1. (New version Firmware for 510 ,710, 910, 300, 500, one v3 - V7.902) as on there web site 28 nov 08 But never released. 2. (Smartdriver - Andy, it's Navcore 7.920 Build 9182 Date 28-Nov-08) I think he meant 7.902.9182 as above 3. New version Firmware for 510 ,710, 910, 300, 500, one-one v3 - v7.903.9183 dated 05/12/08 This version has now been released and is working on my 510 So 3. is the latest, my guess is 7.902 had a problem Hope this makes it clearer Cheers Dexter This post has been edited by dexter: Dec 9 2008, 19:26 -------------------- HERTS UK

Cool, that makes a lot more sense if SD's was a typo.
I'll add your two and his build number to the first one Did you notice if it also recovered your POI warning settings, or *just* the Favourites? |

Put 7.903 on my TT500 last night and unlike previous updates all the POI settings seem to have remained in place. Thinking specifically warnings for the PGPS cameras that I know worked this morning. |
