The experience I have had so far with these "support" staff leaves much to be desired.
For my 910 I emailed from the web page when the speed camera POI fused to download. Upon following their instructions to the letter I was left without my original Europe map file or anything else on "Home" or the 910 device. With a response turnover of over 3 days I had to purchase a map of GB and Ir to keep me going. (The backup made from"Home" was corrupt BTW) I ask a question "How can I restore my maps"? I get an answer using the corrupt backup..I ask again...after many days silence I find the question is closed? Its like banging my head against a brick wall. The maps and speed cameras are no longer shown on my account and trying to update the cameras I have the message "your subscription has expired"...despite purchasing a few weeks ago! Other questions regarding connecting my Nokia 6600 to receive traffic reports were made....I am still unable to connect after over a year. Perhaps I have upset them with my robust comments that were borne of complete despair....either way I seem to be blackballed and left with a device costing over £300 that has no maps or speed cameras. You may imagine I am not best pleased with these people! |
