Hi there, looks like a great forum so I've just joined!
I've had a Mio 269 for a few years now and upgraded maps along the way, now it seems that map upgrades of any kind are not available. It works reasonably so I don't want to spend loads on a new one, is there a way of installing another OS on it? Is this legal? I appreciate rules are rules so if I'm asking a bad question tell me, I just want to know if it will end up being so out of date it's a paperweight. |

Welcome, you may also notice this is a very quiet forum
The main content was also tomtom related and has now moved to it's own site. I expect putting another OS on any device is legal, but it's the mapping data that is usually licensed to one specific device/os combo. As for being out of date, the majority of roads never move for centuries |
