Am thinking of installing Tom Tom on 7" Nav system. It syas it is compatible with Tom Tom and comes with a blank 2GB SD card. What do I need to do to build a Tom Tom Sd card

Not sure what device you are talking about , but the operating software can be downloaded for free from the tomtom website, however you will need to purchase a map which you will need to use tomtom Home to install legally.
