Why are you using heaven explorer ? just connect tomtom to a pc and access it like a normal external drive. You may need to turn off 'Home' if you have it running.

and yes 'off topic' is the wrong forum.

Ah yes .. it's a bit of a hack to get over the fact that your unit isn't supposed to have the car cursor feature.
I found a write up < here >

I assume the One 3rd edition doesn't have this facility built in?

In the folder you created \art\cars I assume you have put the pictures in there??

Have you looked at this thread for some answers?

Just a guess, as it's 'not my department' so to speak, but does TomTom Explorer not require something like Microsoft Visual C++ on your PC to work.

Again, this is just a guess, and even then, if it does, you might already have it.

But it's just something that has my little second sense ringing a little bit.

Have a read up over at the site you got it from, to see if it mentions anything about this, or require third-party plugins etc for it to work, becasue as you mention, this might just sound like Swahili to you, if your not advanced PC Geekie, I fully understand.

Try downloading from http://www.tomtomheaven.com/data/zip/tthxplrr.zip it worked fo rme. As your installation if failing I would suspect your installation package.

Afraid I've got nothing to add to what's been said so far (I've got a 720 so have never needed to use tomtom heaven explorer), but I'll edit the title of your post so someone with more knowledge might spot it better.

"Welcome", by the way! good.gif

You might as well move up to SP1 for Vista before going backwards. That's what I have running and ttheavenexplorer installed and worked OK.
