Gooday all, I have a Navman N60i and today recieved the 2007 map update CD. I can't for the life of me work out how to update the maps on the Navman. I have read the manual, got the gadget hooked up to the computer via the enclosed software, got the map cd in the computer, but it doesn't want to co-operate at all.
Does anyone know if I have to remove the old maps before installing the new ones, or will it just overwrite them? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated before I tear all my hair out.

There is a manual on the Navman site < here > just in case it is more detailed than the one you have .
What colour do the map names show as in the software? Might give us a clue. |

Fixed. Had to delete the old maps before installing the new ones. Just a small oversight that wasn't mentioned in the manual. I guess we technologically challenged are meant to know these things
 . I thought just insert the update CD, enter the code and it would automatically over-write and update things accordingly. You learn something new every day, but is done now.Thanks Jolly Roger for your reply. I have that manual already. |
