Home V 2.2.0.33 Available Now! Options

As the title says...

When you run TomTom Home, version 2.2.0.33 should now automatically download and ask if it can install.

What's new that I've spotted so far:

1. It gives the description and Serial No (not device code) of the device you have connected.

2. It now actually tells you whether you have got the Internal memory or the SD card selected.

3. New "Sounds" downloads.
Change your "You have reached your destination" to something else as well as new Ringtone, Incoming message tone and POI alert sounds.

4. New "add-ons" (in Tools menu). It says I have a new Mapshare "status indicator". It appears as a little box top right of the front page, tells you if you are up to date and how many corrections you've got. (50,00 already it reckons!)

5. Add "Images and icons" (car icon, splash screens)

6. Changing content, it now "Recommends" stuff (like Traffic and Speed cams.)

7. A little bit more info about Map Share corrections before you download them.

HOME - you have to love it for it's uselessness!!

Ok, I have download 2.2.033 but it's playing me up with the Mapshare bit!

As per No.4 on Andys Post above ; the little box on the main page of HOME shows a Red Dot and the words
"Your Map is 10 weeks out of date. 12502 free "Mapshare" Map Corrections waiting"

Well to start my Map was only installed 2 weeks ago.... but thats irrelevant.
On V2.1 of HOME i was getting my Mapshare stuff fine, but when I click the box it switches to the UPDATES page, checks and says no new Mapshare Corrections.

Am I doing something wrong or is it HOME?

It says my map is OK and I have 47734 Map Share corrections installed! Heck

Sorry, I was too late to edit the other post....

Another thing I notice, when I go into Tools/TomTom Mapshare/ Mapshare Preferences, on the Tab "Select Countries", I have nothing listed!! Shoud it show which map i have installed?

I've shared a Colour Scheme if anyone wants to have a go at downloading it! An obvious name.

Hi folks D/L version 2.2.etc and it does not want to work at all.

I need to go back to version 2.1 but unfortunately have deleted same Can someone point me to where I can download an older version of TT Home so I can get sorted again.

Scott... WHICH older version? v2.1? v1.6? v1.5?
THIS TomTom page will give you v1.6 if you select the Rider/Navigator 6 option.
Also I have removed your email address for your own safety. These can get "harvested by spammers. If you need to send it to someone, use the PM message system.

Gadget_sa.... going back to your Map Share problem. I've seen this cured before by starting again i.e. remove all corrections (Tools / Mapshare / Remove corrections.

Doesn't work very well.
When I connected up this morning. It said I was still up to date, but when I checked, it downloaded some more.

Is anyone actually seeing anything to do with "sharing content"?
The Help files say:

To share content in HOME, click Add Maps, Traffic, Voices etc, then Add {item}, then How do I create my own {item}, then Share my {item}.

and

2. Click, for example, Voices.

You can then choose from items that are being shared by others and items being shared by TomTom (these have the TomTom logo next to them).

Funny,

All this worked for me last night with the MAC VERSION. Only Map share downloads were iffy.
