Very Happy with my TomTom 510 even though I've had to have a new windscreen mount.

Me too; I have to juggle the mounting angle when the sun is bright to get a fully readable display.
Functionally, my 510 works perfectly well although it'd be nice to have some of the menus re-ordered. I have looked at the SkuX tool for doing this, but several of the functions of the x10 series are not included in the menu options there, so I'm reluctant to go that route (sic) until it's updated.

Any opinion expressed above is herein warranted to be worth exactly what you paid for it

TTG 510, Samsung RGH-D600, Sharp GX-17, 2 Macs, 6PCs, a Rail Travelcard and a pushbike; Any guesses as to priorities?

I'm happy (ish) nea.gif . I've used black box GPS kit for a few years for work purposes where the box keeps a record of per-second lat/long/speed/direction info for congestion monitoring purposes. My first pretty picture GPS was a PDA with a TomTom bluetooth GPS and Navigator 3 - it was ok. Half way through a fortnight in Cornwall, though, it crashed so bad a battery removal was required (forgot to take a laptop on holiday for occasional reinstalls, didn't I?) wacko.gif fool.gif

So - being a gadget freak and having more money than sense I bought a Go 910. 'Kin brill' - but: it doesn't log details like wot the 2 year old PDA version did. I always feel cheated aggressive.gif if the new version of something is lesser than the older version, even in a minor detail.

I'll get over it, probably cray.gif

LongGrass,

Try installing Tripmaster or Event_Logger. They will record your journey.
