Brand new TomTom only site started!

Brand new TomTom only site started! Our long-term users will probably remember how this site started as a TomTom-only site, called myTomTomGO.com. After some time, we decided to cover other SatNav brands too, and so we created yourNAV.com. Even though yourNAV is still very successful as a stand-alone site, we have to be honest that we've been a bit disappointed the TomTom section of the site was still by far the most popular with most users.

For this reason we set up a new experimental TomTom-only site again: MyTomTom.co.uk. It turned out to be just what the doctor ordered, and because of this we've decided to give the site a complete overhaul.

The result of this overhaul is presented to you today: the brand-new, TomTom-specific yourTomTom.com site! You'll find all you are used to from us there, plus a lot more; but the main thing is this site is solely dedicated to TomTom products once again.

We've listened to our users, heard your requests and now we can show you the result. And yes... even the green is back! YourNAV.com will continue to exist, of course, but will be transformed and focus more on the other SatNav brands.

We hope to welcome you all on our brand new website: yourTomTom.com !!!

Julf Clicking on the headline only gives me the www.yournav.com homepage. But anyway, does it make sense to split up the community into so many separate forums? Is the volume here too big?

Clicking on the Headline takes you to the NEWS page where it is announced.
Clicking on the one of the links in the News Release takes you to the new site.

Andy_P I'm sure Bart will correct me if I'm wrong, but AFAIK the TomTom forum will still be easily accessible from this site, so you won't miss anything by being on either one for now.
One click takes you to the forum in its new home and once you've logged in with your existing username and password, you can carry on posting just like normal, (while adjusting our eyes back to the old "green"! yahoo.gif )

Bart, If that's right, should we make that clearer in the big announcement post?

All TomTom forums and all TT posts are moved to the new website and are all closed here. The rest is still available...

Andy_P Sorry Nick, I was editing my post to reflect that as you typed...

Yes, and also it look like the "General" sections (for POIs etc) are still accessible from both.

And mytomtomgo.com is still live as well I see. Very confusing! Three sites to check rather than one.

I believe all three use the same database...so just the one for forum threads etc...
