NavCore 8 updates TomTom-devicesIs your TomTom entirely up-to-date? We’ll provide you with a complete list of NavCore 8 updates available for the GO, ONE and RIDER. This way you can be sure your TomTom is running the most recent version of the navigational software.

The most recently released versions are on top of the list. On the bottom of this post you’ll read some more information on how to install these updates via TomTom HOME desktop application.

Installation
If you want to install the most recent version of TomTom’s NavCore onto your device, you’ll need to have TomTom’s HOME desktop application installed onto your computer. Click HERE for more information on how to download and install TomTom HOME.

Every time you connect your PND to your computer via USB, HOME will automatically check if you are using the most recent version of NavCore.

Should be there be a new version available, it will show up on your screen. Make sure to select the update then, and click ‘Download Updates’.
Important: do NOT undock/unplug your device from the computer until the installation has been completed! You will be notified on when to do so.

After downloading and installing the software, your TomTom GO, ONE or RIDER will be completely up-to-date once again…

Wishlist You would have thought they would have at least called it V8.003 or something other than the one everyone has been using for a while, even if it is pretty good. wink.gif

Wishlist Yes, I know...so you think that TT would have made it look like they had read all the reported bugs and tried to do something about them. But no, they just let everyone have the version with bugs etc. So what was the point of beta testing it is what I am getting at.... in a very unclear way.

Can't tell you how much that sucks! I have many sat navs, I buy them for my staff too. The next one I don't think will be a TT! They have got too greedy. aggressive.gif

Ahh or is that just because of the maps for now?
Edit: I see from other posts that it is! Not so clear in the report that!!
