YourNav.com was launched today by publisher jouwMedia.nl. A completely independent site for all Personal Navigation Devices (PND's) regardless of brand. We bring you all the news on companies like TomTom, Navman, Garmin and Mio. We also have thorough reviews, background stories and an extensive forum where every (potential) owner of a PND can post all the questions and answers he may have about his favourite navigational solution.

Popular
Personal Navigation Devices have become increasingly popular in a short time, and jouwMedia acknowledged that fact by launching MyTomTomGO.com in january 2005. MyTomTomGo.com was a site meant specifically for TomTom GO, RIDER and ONE owners.

However, the market of PND's changes at an incredible speed, and since then a lot of other brands also started producing high-quality Personal Navigation Devices. So we figured the time had come to create a new site, a site for ALL the PND owners, regardless of the brand of PND they owned. Besides all the members of the old MyTomTomGo.com forum, today we also welcome Garmin users, Mio users, Navman users, Sony users and VDO Dayton users to yourNAV!

Independent
Above all we would like to state that we have no obligation whatsoever towards any manufacturer or reseller of any brand of PND's. Of course, there are ads on this site, but this in no way implies that we have a bias towards certain PND manufacturers. We are and remain critical and independent in everything that we write or post.

This site is a continuing work in progress. New product specifications, news, reviews and specials will be posted on regular intervals. We have a vision with yourNAV, and we hope, with your help -our users- that we'll be able to make this vision become reality in the near future.

The perfect driving experience is only a touch of the screen away. And we'll show you the way! MyTomTomGo.com is dead, long live yourNAV.com!

Welcome one, and welcome all!!!

Sariel I would like to wish everybody involved in this new endeavour every success. I feel certain that some of the mytomomgo.com forum members may be a little grumpy at the sudden change. Bur wouldn’t life be boring if everything stayed the same. What I have seen so far is pleasing to the eye and mind well done.

congratulations on the new look guys! It's about time TomTom gets some serious competition to keep them on top of their game. The fact that their devices will be reviewed and compared to others on this website can only be a good thing.

Another "old timer" made it through the crystal maze, looking forward to many tips, problems and solutions, puns and Q & A's. Pity though, for the next 4 weeks Jane will be getting us out of trouble in the wilds of Scotland so, hey guys, what is the French for "au Revoir" ? until July.

ps my original TT Go, September 2004 still has the original plastic cover on the screen and fingerprints on the glass ! crazy.gif yahoo.gif

Daveninvest [size=1]Great to see the familiar names have moved to this new site.

Hopefully we can now see just how TTG's match up with the other PNS's out there - and to see if the maps are equally out of date !

Good luck to the organisers and the moderators of this informative site.

smurfergirl Hi Guys,

Just wanted to say what a wonderful site, so glad I found it.

I'm a newbie in the world of PND's - own a TTG500 AU, but I am loving it. My poor husband no longer gets phone calls at all hours from me, trying to get me back on the right track. It's not my fault I'm a geographically challenged blonde fool.gif

Love the support and I am looking forward to uncovering all the little tricks about my new friend "KEN" (he is the Australian guide).

Keep up the great work.

Martin4Jay Sorry for this unrelated message I keep getting a reminder for this thread because of the amount of spam. Been in to my Controls for subscription View Topics but can't find it so this is the only way to do it. It just a shame that you get some weirdo's on the forum.
Sorry for putting this on here.
Cheers

P.S Looks like I can't stop the receiving email notification of replies Can you do this for me please for this thred.

Bart This board was infected with spammers over the last 72 hours. We've deleted all the posts by now, but of course, all those posts also triggered emails that were sent to the subscribers.

User '6751' was one of those spammers, and has by now been banned/deleted (as are his posts). So the email you received was genuine, it's just that the posts are no longer here.
