This fall, Navman will bring four new PND's to the market: the Navman F20, N20, N40i and N60i. This foursome should strengthen Navman's position on entry-level market and are design-wise very equal to the Navman iCN 720 and 750, which were released last March.Software
Apart from the same appearance, the new PND's also use the same SmartST software as the 720/750 and all are equipped with a SiRF Star III chipset.
But there are also differences: the N-series are 20% slimmer than the iCN7xx series, only the Navman N40i and N60i will feature a built-in camera for use with NavPix, and the N60i features a nice 4,3 inch 480x272 pixel screen. The other 3 PND's 'only' use a 'normal' 3,5 inch touch screen. The new Navman's are shipped with the 2006.1 maps by Tele Atlas and will be available in the United Kingdom from leading e-tailers and high street stores starting mid-September 2006.
